What You’ll Do

The Project Manager is a critical team position that manages multiple concurrent program timelines and ensures internal teams are on schedule.  This position works with all disciplines on projects to include Creative/Design, Engineering, Hong Kong, Account Service, and Product Safety/Quality. 

  • Using Microsoft Project creates and publishes master schedule for all assigned projects.  Assigns and tracks all tasks and milestones related to schedule.  

  • Issues Purchase Orders on all assigned programs. Approves vendor invoices reconciling against PO’s for accurate billing. 

  • Collaborates with project team (Hong Kong, Product Safety/Quality, Account, Creative, ID, Engineering, Logistics, Finance) on milestone objectives and timeline adherence creating action plans on missed dates and making changes to the schedule as necessary.

  • Anticipates problems and works with internal team on problem solving to ensure on time delivery.   

  • Leads regular production meetings providing project and critical milestone updates.

  • Works toward project team building; and maintains good relationships with all team members while neutrally balancing all competing project interests to ensure that projects complete on-time, on-budget, on-spec and within all required safety parameters. 

  • Provides a fair and full accounting of project details for assigned programs, tracks major schedule KPIs.

  • Working with our warehouse partners, manages inventory and fulfillment for assign clients ensuring a sufficient supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field and 4+ years’ experience working in a consumer products company or marketing related business that requires organizational skills

  • Experience in project management where organizational abilities, process adherence, problem solving and attention to detail are critical

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage critical timelines

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization including Asia office

  • Must be a self-starter with a positive demeanor that enjoys working with a high functioning team

  • Has a competent understanding of production lifecycle and the ability to multitask with multiple programs at various stages of development

  • Experience using MS office with an emphasis on Excel proficiency; knowledge of MS Project preferred

  • Good sense of humor and the ability to not take yourself too seriously!
