What You’ll Do
The Project Planner is a key role on the client team that develops and tracks project schedules along with coordinating logistics/shipping activities for Kids' Meal Toy Programs.
Project Management

Initiates all projects and maintains all project information on assigned clients

Uses Microsoft Project to plan, schedule, and track all assigned client team projects, milestones, and resources

Issues purchase orders on all sold programs, responsible for invoice reconciliation with Finance

Ensures that team resources are appropriately scheduled and managed to ensure they are not overbooked

Client Team Support – effectively works with creative, engineering, safety, account service, and the Hong Kong office

Anticipates and provides solutions for potential project roadblocks

Monitor and report product cost variation for each program window
Logistics/Shipping

Processes import documentation including US Customs requirements for entry

Manages freight forwarders and tracking of ocean shipments from origin to destination

Daily communication with US and Hong Kong teams

Oversees distribution warehouses on the West and East Coasts

Inventory control – monitors inbound receipts, inventory levels, replenishments and oversees outbound distribution orders

Generates freight budgets per program – this includes required containers and loading; provides documentation to client on program details

Issue weekly report from all 3PL locations

Manage fulfillment of direct-to-consumer orders during peak season
Qualifications
-
2-3 years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Transportation a plus

Experience in project management where organizational abilities, process adherence, problem solving and attention to detail are critical

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage critical timelines

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization including Asia office

Must be a self-starter with a positive demeanor that enjoys working with a high functioning team

Has a competent understanding of production lifecycle and the ability to multitask with multiple programs at various stages of development

Experience using MS office with an emphasis on Excel proficiency; knowledge of MS Project preferred

Experience in logistics and international shipping would be preferred
